ENHANCING YOUR CHOICES
Today’s supply chain is more global and complex. The final customers do not have identical preferences. A single packaging does not meet the demand of each individual customer.
The possibility to transload powdered and granulated materials into different storage and transport sources represents a central service to satisfy every buying preference.
As a logistics service provider, material handling is one of our main competences. Transferring solid products from FIBCs or small bags into different packaging configurations is one of the solutions we can offer to meet specific demands.
FIBCs can be highly cost effective for certain bulk material distribution. There are many names used on the market that refer to a Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container (FIBC), some examples are big bags, super sacks, bulk bags, jumbo bags, baffle bags and even cubic bags.
FROM FIBC
MAKE YOUR BULK MOVES EASIER
We provide extensive debag services for all different kinds of dry products. Besides the free-flowing materials (polyethylene, polystyrene, etc.), we also offer a high level of expertise in handling hard-flowing powders (calcium carbonate, diatomite, bentonite, kaolin, etc.).
We carefully consider the flowability of the dry bulk material, as determined through flow properties testing. Thanks to this method, we understand the material’s flow behavior or unique characteristics such as friability, dustiness, or abrasiveness. Therefore, we are able to determine which transloading system will suit the best to every different type of material and application.
The ranges of configuration that are most demanded:
- From FIBC Into Dry Bulk Tanker
- From FIBC Into ISO Box Container
- From FIBC Into Railcar
SETTING THE STANDARDS IN MATERIAL HANDLING
Our engineers are experienced in meeting the highest standards used in the industries we serve. RB’s solutions are adapted and certified under the specific regulations that are required (CE, FCC, CSA, ARAB, TÜV, ARBO, etc.).
The consequences dust can generate to health and surroundings make it essential to perform collection and management tasks. FIBCs create dust when they are being handled, so that is why we use dust collecting systems and filtering elements in our devices. Bag compactors are also used in our operations to avoid creating extra dust once the FIBCs are empty.
RB is concerned about the environmental impact that industrial operations could cause and is constantly working on improving the ecological footprint of the offered services. In this case, FIBCs are a durable bulk storing method, as they are very strong and resistant against water and heat exposure, plus they can be shrank and stretched without suffering any damage. Consequently, we reuse them whenever it is possible and, once discarded or damaged, they are recycled.
