TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT
We are focused on continuous improvement in order to obtain the highest level of performance as a global service provider. We have implemented Total Quality Management using a comprehensive and structured approach to organizational management that seeks to improve the quality of products and services through ongoing refinements in response to continuous feedback. Our requirements are defined in adherence to established standards, such as ISO 9001: 2015.
We divide processes into four sequential categories: plan, do, check, and act (the PDCA cycle). In the planning phase, people define the problem to be addressed, collect relevant data, and ascertain the problem’s root cause; in the doing phase, people develop and implement a solution, and decide upon a measurement to gauge its effectiveness; in the checking phase, people confirm the results through before-and-after data comparison; in the acting phase, people document their results, inform others about process changes, and make recommendations for the problem to be addressed in the next PDCA cycle.
ISO9001: 2015
We, and all partners involved in our processes, are ISO9001:2015 certified. The implementation of this standard is key for proper non-conformance treatment, risk analysis and continuous improvement of the organization.
GMP+ FEED
To assure Feed Safety during transport we are GMP+ certified. Feed products (and additives) are safe with us due to our 100% traceability and broad knowledge regarding cleaning and compatibility of products as well as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
The GMP+ Feed Certification for RB focusses on transport procedures, documentation and cleaning procedures. GMP+ international transparently defines clear conditions, so that feed safety and sustainability are guaranteed and certification bodies can conduct independent audits. GMP+ certified companies are supported with useful and practical information, such as various databases, newsletters, Q&A lists, courses and seminars.
SQAS
RB is SQAS (Safety and Quality Assessment for Sustainability) assessed. SQAS is a system to evaluate the quality, safety, security, environmental and CSR performance of Logistics Service Providers in a uniform manner by single standardized assessments carried out by independent assessors using a standard questionnaire. SQAS has been a guideline for continuous improvement over the last decade for RB and will be in the future. A SQAS assessment does not lead to a certificate, like for example ISO 9001 or GMP+, but offers a detailed factual report which each chemical company needs to evaluate according to its own requirements. ECTA. RESPONSIBLE CARE
We are ECTA (European Chemicals Transport Association) members and active participators in the Responsible Care® program. Responsible Care® is the global chemical industry’s unique initiative to improve health, environmental performance, enhance security, and to communicate with stakeholders about products and processes.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The integration of our vision upon CSR and Sustainability in all our processes have passed the point of no return. Beyond policies and ideas, society demands actions. At RB we share this demand and are proud of the steps we have made over the last decade. Our CSR focus is divided over the following fields: Fundamental Human Rights, Working Conditions, Non Discrimination, Freedom of association, Child Labor, Anti-Corruption and Bribery, Ethics and Fair Business, Harassment, Conflict of interests and Gifts and hospitality.
