MEET THE MODERN TRUCK DRIVER.

Historically, truck drivers have not always been valued, as we probably should have. This is in great part due to a lack of knowledge in society regarding what it really takes to be a professional truck driver these days. If we just focus on how prepared and trained they are we’ll see that with a just a driver’s license of the right category you’re still far away from being prepared enough to work with a heavy weight vehicle. It can take years of training before being able to drive one of our vehicles. We consider our drivers true airplane pilots on ground level.

COMMUNICATION WITH TRUCK DRIVERS OVER THE YEARS.

Communication with truck drivers has changed so much over the last decades that it’s difficult to even remember how things were 20 years ago. While interviewing some senior colleagues one of them even considered that: “Communication improvements have been a small step for man and a giant leap for truck drivers” *. Although this statement might be slightly out of perspective, we all agree that everything related to technology and communications have changed a lot.
